Dear Parents,
The foundation for the “new” establishment of the “Freundschaft” daycare center in 2001 was a parent-educator initiative. The involvement of parents in the daycare center was, and still is, an important building block for the successful educational work with children.
In addition to their involvement in celebrations and parent meetings, as supporters on excursions, and ultimately as experts on their children, parents are of course also welcome and needed on the daycare committee...
There are legal requirements for the “daycare committee,” which can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports.
Our daycare committee has been in existence for many years and, as required, is composed of equal parts of the operator, educational staff, and parents. This gives us many perspectives on a given issue. In addition, we gain enormous resources from a broad spectrum of society, which are used for the well-being of the children.
