Who are we?

We are a loving, motivated, and creative nursery team consisting of trained educational professionals. We accompany and care for your child aged 0-3 years in one of six nursery groups. Our educational activities and planning focus on each individual child and their needs.

After a gentle settling-in phase (see the Settling-in button) accompanied by the parents, we offer your child a loving, structured daily routine and a safe environment in fixed reference groups. In a varied environment, your child can develop and flourish at their own pace and according to their own needs. Together with us and the other children, there is much to discover and experience.

Learning skills and rules for interacting with others, teaching children independence, and building a trusting relationship between parents and educators are very important to us.

    • Settling in

To ensure that your child has a good start to this new phase of their life, settling in is an important part of helping them feel comfortable at daycare later on.

Before settling in, parents are introduced to the facility, the future group, and the teachers.

In order to discuss important information about the upcoming settling-in period, the group teachers will arrange an appointment for a preliminary meeting (approx. 14 days before the start of the settling-in period) with the parents.
During this meeting, parents provide the teachers with all important information about their child, e.g., eating habits, intolerances/allergies, sleeping habits, favorite toys, etc., and are informed about the daily routine and special features of the facility and group.

The settling-in period is flexible, always taking into account the needs of the child and the family (orientation period: 14 days based on the Berlin settling-in model).
During the first few days, the child is sensitively introduced to the group in the presence of their parents.
The group's educators establish an emotional connection with the child through observation and play and answer any questions the parents may have. Taking the child's needs into account, the parents leave the child after consultation, initially for only a few minutes and, at the end of the settling-in phase, for a few hours at a time.

There is a daily exchange of information about the progress of the settling-in period.
